Configure email DNS and find the selector

  1. 1

    Open the email domain setup

In hPanel open Emails, choose Manage for the email service, select Connect Domain and open Increase email deliverability to see the expected records.

  2. 2

    Connect or publish the records

Use Connect automatically when Hostinger controls the nameservers. Otherwise copy the displayed SPF, DKIM and DMARC records to the provider that hosts the authoritative DNS zone.

  3. 3

    Identify the selector

Hostinger Email can publish CNAME names such as hostingermail-a._domainkey, hostingermail-b._domainkey and hostingermail-c._domainkey. Confirm the selector currently signing mail from the s= value in a new message header.

  4. 4

    Enter the active selector

Enter only the active prefix, for example hostingermail-a, in VerifySeal. Keep all Hostinger-required DKIM CNAME records published so provider key rotation continues to work.

  5. 5

    Install the issued seal

After the DNS check passes, follow the webmail or desktop email-program guide to insert the linked seal image into the verified sender signature.

Email Sender Verification Seal

Complete authentication before installing the seal

The sender domain must continue to publish a valid SPF record, the selected DKIM key and a DMARC policy. VerifySeal automatically rechecks these records according to the administrator schedule. For High Security messages, DKIM must cover the final Message-ID, VEM header and completed body.

  • SPF authorizes sending services
  • DKIM verifies the signed message domain
  • DMARC publishes the domain policy
Testing checklist

Confirm the installation is working

01

SPF

The sender domain has one valid SPF record containing every authorized sending service.

02

DKIM

A new external message reports DKIM pass and its matching signature contains the selector entered in VerifySeal.

03

DMARC

A DMARC record is published at _dmarc and its policy matches the organization’s approved rollout.

04

VerifySeal

The customer order reports SPF, DKIM and DMARC as verified before the Email Sender Seal is issued.

Platform notes
  • Hostinger Email and Titan Email can show different DKIM records; always use the records displayed for the actual purchased email service.
