Website installation

Step-by-step instructions

  1. 1

    Create a Custom module

Open the site module manager and create a Custom module for the seal. Choose a footer or other visible template position.

  2. 2

    Disable code cleanup

Use a no-editor or source-code mode so the content editor does not remove the script tag.

  3. 3

    Paste and publish

Paste the Recommended JavaScript embed, choose the required menu assignments and publish the module.

  4. 4

    Test the public module

Clear Joomla and hosting caches, open an assigned page and click the seal to check its live certificate.

Domain ownership callback

Complete domain validation on Joomla

Use the unique callback code displayed on the customer order. Never reuse a code from another domain or application.

  1. 1

Use hosting File Manager to create /.well-known/verifyseal.txt in the Joomla document root.

  2. 2

If file access is unavailable, add the supplied meta tag through the active template or a trusted head-code extension.

  3. 3

Confirm the callback works on the exact hostname before requesting a recheck.

02

Clickable

The seal opens the VerifySeal public certificate rather than a copied local image.

03

Current

The certificate status is verified, the expiry is current and the details match.

04

Correct domain

The registered production hostname matches the website displaying the seal.

Platform notes
  • Joomla editors and text filters can remove JavaScript. The Basic image embed remains a safe fallback.
