Step-by-step instructions

  1. 1

    Add a Code block

Edit the page or footer area, add a Code block and set it to render HTML rather than display source code.

  2. 2

    Paste the live embed

Paste the Recommended JavaScript embed. JavaScript support in Code blocks can depend on the Squarespace plan.

  3. 3

    Use the fallback when needed

If the script is displayed as text or removed, replace it with the Basic image embed.

  4. 4

    Save and test publicly

Save the page, exit the editor preview and test the seal on the registered custom domain.

04

Correct domain

The registered production hostname matches the website displaying the seal.

Platform notes
  • Some custom-code features require an eligible Squarespace plan. The Basic image embed provides the widest compatibility.
