Install a VerifySeal seal on Webflow

Place the seal with Webflow’s Code Embed element and publish it to the registered custom domain.

Step-by-step instructions

    Add a Code Embed element

    Open the Webflow Designer, choose Add, Advanced and Code Embed, then place it in the footer, component or page location.

  2. 2

    Paste the embed

    Paste the Recommended JavaScript code exactly as supplied. Do not include html, head or body wrapper tags.

  3. 3

    Save and publish

    Save the embed and publish to the registered custom domain, not only the webflow.io staging hostname.

  4. 4

    Verify the hostname check

    Click the published seal and confirm that the public certificate does not show a wrong-website warning.

Domain ownership callback

Complete domain validation on Webflow

Use the unique callback code displayed on the customer order. Never reuse a code from another domain or application.

  1. 1

    Use Project or Site Settings custom code and add the supplied meta tag to the Head code.

  2. 2

    Publish the site to the registered custom domain.

  3. 3

    Open the public homepage source and confirm the meta tag before requesting the VerifySeal check.

Testing checklist

Confirm the installation is working

Visible

The complete 300 × 106 seal is visible and not cropped on desktop or mobile.

Clickable

The seal opens the VerifySeal public certificate rather than a copied local image.

Current

The certificate status is verified, the expiry is current and the details match.

04

Correct domain

The registered production hostname matches the website displaying the seal.

  • Custom code availability depends on the Webflow workspace or site plan. Use the Basic image embed if Code Embed is unavailable.
