Install a VerifySeal seal on Wix

Use the linked-image seal inside an Embed HTML element because Wix commonly isolates visible embeds in an iframe.

Step-by-step instructions

    Add an Embed HTML element

    Open the Wix editor, choose Add Elements, Embed Code and Embed HTML, then place and size the element where the seal should appear.

  2. 2

    Use the Basic image embed

    Paste the Basic image embed from VerifySeal. This avoids an iframe hostname being mistaken for the registered website by automatic domain detection.

  3. 3

    Set the element size

    Allow at least 300 pixels width and 106 pixels height, with a small margin so the image is not cropped.

  4. 4

    Publish and click-test

    Publish the Wix site on the registered custom domain and confirm the seal opens the correct live certificate in a new tab.

Domain ownership callback

Complete domain validation on Wix

Use the unique callback code displayed on the customer order. Never reuse a code from another domain or application.

    Use Wix Dashboard, Settings, Custom Code and add the supplied verification meta tag to the Head.

  2. 2

    Apply it to the homepage or all pages and publish the site.

  3. 3

    View the source of the live custom-domain homepage and confirm the exact tag is present before requesting verification.

The complete 300 × 106 seal is visible and not cropped on desktop or mobile.

Clickable

The seal opens the VerifySeal public certificate rather than a copied local image.

The certificate status is verified, the expiry is current and the details match.

Correct domain

The registered production hostname matches the website displaying the seal.

Platform notes
  • The image version still opens a live certificate, but it cannot automatically report the outer Wix page hostname from inside an iframe.
