Does a domain seal verify the business owner?+
Not by itself. A domain-only seal proves control of the registered hostname. Choose a business, organization or trusted website product when legal identity also needs to be reviewed.
What happens if someone copies the seal?+
The live image and certificate compare the requesting hostname with the registered website and can show a mismatch warning on an unauthorized domain.
Is the SSL check a penetration test?+
No. It reports the observed public certificate, expiry and supported connection details; it is not a vulnerability scan or guarantee that the website is secure.
